Headed home...

Garry left the mission station in PNG around 5 pm our time yesterday. It will take him about 50 hours to get home... long time in transit! He had to spend the night in Brisbane, but that is probably a good thing as hopefully he'll get a good rest before his long flight to LAX tomorrow.

When Garry left for PNG we felt very confident that God had a plan and that we were supposed to be involved in it. The process there has been fun and challenging, invigorating and at times discouraging. There are challenges that need dealt with, but we know the One who has answers. We are incredibly thankful for all God has already done in this process. And we look forward with anticipation to how He is going to finish the process. We trust we can be a blessing and a help to the aviation team in PNG. What a privilege it is to know the God of the Universe and to be involved in what He is doing!

Tomorrow morning I have the opportunity to be involved in a missionary panel discussion at Blumenort's Sunday school. I'm looking forward to hearing what others have to say and sharing a bit of what God has done in our lives.

I'm still pondering this blog and how to proceed. If you have thoughts, please share them!
