Garry is working on his CFI renewal between other things, as are two of our other pilots. Must be the time of year that pilots get their instructor rating or something! He is really thankful for a great online course.
Kevin and Kaleb have been making great use of their time off school riding bikes, riding motorcycle, making Lego animation, and enjoying the lack of schedule.

Where do you go to play badminton? How far of a drive is it? Who do you play against?
We play badminton at a small court close to our house-- maybe a 3-minute walk from home. They have 7 cement courts, 4 of which are pretty hard to play on because they're so uneven. But there are some good players here. Maybe 4 guys that are competitive with Kevin. And probably another 50 club players. Good community:).
We also play in the city close to here, which is a 3-hour drive away. We try to do that maybe every 6 weeks or so. There are a number of players there that are better than Kevin since there are several universities and plenty of varsity players.
You guys have a club close to you or a school you use?
We play in a junior club out of a school close to our house as well as a college about a 10-minute drive away. But we have essentially stopped for the summer months.
yeah, i always forget that there are sports seasons there... here there is always about the same amount of play, though it increases or decreases a little depending on upcoming tournaments. Enjoy your summer....
